Amanda Bossard net worth
n 1992 just out of high school, Amanda Bossard started her education in marine biology at Alaska Pacific University, Anchorage in Alaska. Bossard's career began in 1999 with a job on the vessel F/V Sunset. This 65 foot vessel, which was a halibut fishing vessel, was transformed into a salmon tender by Murat Ariatn. He is a commercial fisherman for the past twenty years. Bossard and Aritan are now married and have joined forces to claim their place in their industry. They are both in favor of conservative and profitable managing of the renewable resources for seafood. Otolith is directly wholesale distribution of seafood that was started in Philadelphia in 2007 by a now-mother of two young children: Bella age 3 and Andre age 1. Otolith's name is a fond reference to Bossard's extensive understanding of the biology of fish and her husband's vast connections to the industry of seafood. It is common for them to be separated for up to 5 months each time they work towards financial and environmental goals that reflect their commitment and independence wherever they live. Bossard and her children Andre 10, and Isabella 12 make their annual return for a visit to Southeast Alaska as deckhands to harvest wild salmon during summer. They use hooks and line to capture their salmon before joining Aritan to sell to local processors for 2 months. After that, they increase their direct seafood market through Otolith Sustainable Seafood. Amanda Bossard was hired as a News 12 Anchor/MMJ and News 12 Brooklyn in November of 2015. She loves to highlight the positive things that happen within the boroughs she covers and share stories that have an impact.
